2021 SBLA Season Information
Hello there SBLA Lacrosse families!
You should have been seeing a ton of emails coming through in the last couple days. (check your junk folder if you haven’t received any emails from RAMP).
This season we launched an online App. (Like Team Snap or TeamLinkt, if you've used these in the past) To assist us in trying to be as contactless as possible, as well as allowing us to easily comply with the SLA Return to Play and Sask Health Guidelines.
What does this mean?
- You will need to follow the instructions on the email to download the App to your mobile device.
- Your player is assigned to a group (8-players or 7players 1-goalie), not a team this year.
- You will be able to see all the players and coaching staff that make up your group.
- All floor times will be listed with the location and time.
RSVP/ATTENDANCE
- ALL players and staff MUST complete their availability. YES, attending or NO, not attending, for EACH floor time.
SCREENING QUESTIONS
- MUST be completed once you indicate your RSVP/ATTENDANCE.
- Failure to complete RSVP/Attendance and SCREENING questions will mean your player will NOT be allowed in the rink!
There will be no spectators allowed in the rink.
- We are trying to limit contact and the amount of time required to clean the facility between groups. Less cleaning areas, less time required between groups = more floor time for the players!
A few points to remember:
- FULL equipment must be worn for all floor times! NO sharing of equipment at any time!
- Masks MUST be worn inside the facility at- ALL times - yes, even on the floor under your helmet.
- Athletes must bring their OWN water bottle - clearly labeled - and NOT share water bottles with others.
- There can be NO sharing of equipment. If your player forgets anything they can NOT borrow from another player.
- Players can only enter the facility 10 minutes prior to their session. Goalies 15min prior.
- Players MUST come fully dressed. There will be NO dressing rooms available for use.
- Once your session is completed you MUST leave the facility.
- Athletes are unable to switch or join other groups than the one originally assigned to.
- The ENTRANCE at KINSMEN is via the main door. The EXIT will be via the South end of the area.
If you are feeling unwell, or have possibly been exposed, please STAY HOME!
If you are unable to attend your scheduled session, please complete the availability on the App.
Should you have any further questions, reach out to your Division Coordinator, or email sbla@stoonboxlax.com
Thank-you for your patience and as always, continued support, as we do what we can to get the players on the floor, grow our game and use new tools to communicate to our Lacrosse family!
