What a difference a year makes! One says that, but until experiencing this past year, one truly never realizes how true that statement could be!
With a new year upon us, and with hope we may return to some sort of normal activity, whatever that may look like. We are planning and working towards several different options to get our athletes back on the floor. To assist us in our planning we are looking to our membership and their interest.
Please know all our plans start with the safety of our players as a TOP priority. This season, whatever that may look like, will be determined by the Provincial Government and the SLA. They are working together to create a new Return To Play(RTP) policy. The SBLA will strictly adhere to their guidelines ensuring all safety protocols are in place and followed. As we get updated information, we update our website. Please check http://stoonboxlax.com/ regularly
As a first step in moving forward we are OPENING the registration site for the 2021 season.
Here are a few things to take note of.
What will the season look like? Currently we are planning for the 1st week of April to start and 2nd week of July to wrap up. AGAIN, this all depends on what is decided by the Provincial Gov. and the SLA RTP plan.
Division coordinators will be contacting ALL registered players prior to their first-floor time. Where floor times and payment arrangements will be communicated during this call.
Reminder: We don’t have all the details yet, but we are working closely with the SLA to try our best and get our players active and on the floor as soon as it is SAFE to do so!
